• Tolkien: Lord of the Rings will have a movie version! This production is being filmed at New Zealand since this country offers a diverse geographical scenario. Either way, much of the work will be made with computers. This movie is expected to be released in two to three years. If it's as good as the book, it'll be a hit! If not... well, I wouldn't like to be in the director's shoes :).

• Update delay: sorry about the delay on this month's global update, but I had to study for school exams. I was planning to update the page a couple of days ago but Xoom's FTP server went down and I had to wait until today. Anyway, the page was updated!
• IRC RPG: we're planning to organize an IRC RPG at PTNet's #rpg. It'll feature ADND environment and rules. We'll write a help file with the instructions for those that don't know the rules of these games. As usual, the best way to keep informed about this will be the Ice Ring mailing list, so join it now!
• Battle Force: Hadeesha Software is accepting some artists for their new RPG project. If you think you're a good anime artist and wish to be a part of the first portuguese RPG for PC, then send an e-mail to hadeesha@hotmail.com. Remember that this is an amateur project, you'll be working for free (unless the game is comercially released... on that case, the profits will be divided throughout the team). • Glideless emulator: this month I'm placing a N64 emulator that has Direct 3D support. These are good news for those of you that don't have a 3DFX card and that aren't interested in using wrappers. Proceed to the download section and get UltraD3D!
