These are the May Update news:
- 99/5/24
- Ice Ring: the Ice Ring mailing list is back! We finally found a
new server that suited our needs... let's see if they're up to it.
Anyone can subscribe to this RPG related mailing list. Once you've
subscribed, you'll be able to send e-mails to the list. A cool way to
exchange information! Proceed to the
Ice Ring section and fill in
the form to join the list!
- 99/5/22
- Flash Contact: this is the name of the on-line game that I've
mentioned a couple of days ago. I've already tested it... and it was
quite a letdown. It's just a simple rock-scissors-paper game. Play
it if you want... (by the way, is it just me or the Mutant's picture
is adapted from the Terminator?)

- Link Exchange: #Tunes Official Homepage became the first page
joining the link exchange. Go to the Exchange section and visit
this cool page!
- Glide2x.dll: Some people have been complaining that UltraHLE
requests this file in order to run. This happens if you do not have
a 3DFX card. But there's no need for you to go to the store and
buy a shiny new Voodoo 2! I've added some wrappers that, with some
luck, will solve your problem. The wrappers consist of a glide2x.dll
file that must be placed in the emulator's directory. I recommend
that you download all and stick to the one that works better with
your card. For further explanations, please read the readme.txt file
that the wrappers have. And no, you won't be able to play Quake 2
or any other game using these wrappers, they were specifically designed
to work with UltraHLE and only work with it.
- Ulysse.net: I've received an e-mail saying that a new on-line
browser based game is available at
www.ulysse.net
free of charge. According to that e-mail, Amazons, Mutables and
Knights will be the protagonists and you'll be able to choose on-line
whom to defy. I haven't tested it, so I can't comment it. But, unless
this is some new way of infecting your computer with virus (you never
know, these days), the idea looks pretty cool. If I manage to get
some free time, I'll check it out. Meanwhile, if you know something
more about it (or if you've tried it), please send me an e-mail.

- Ice Ring: There's a new Ice Ring member. Rex's Page has lots
of information about Shining Force and it's well worth a visit.
Welcome to the Ice Ring, Rex! As for our mailing list, we're still
looking for a new (free) server... If you have any suggestions,
e-mail me. We'll also make some tests to see if Listbot is back
on-line and functional... If it is, we'll reactivate our list there.
- Phantasy Star 4: A visitor of this page told me that the link
I had was too slow... In fact, it was terrible... Sorry! I've
already corrected the problem, placing the file in a new server.
Thanks to Matthew Clemmens for warning me of that!
- 99/5/6
- Broken Link: I've fixed the XGL200 broken link. Thanks to all
of you that informed me of it!
- 99/4/29
- Page update: the page has been updated
- TOP 25: I'm now a TOP 25 member. Please vote for me if you
think that my site is worth it. Simply click on any of the TOP 25
banners (there's one in the main page and there are three in the
"Download" section). Thanks for voting!
