What Are Elements?

Element is the generic name for all sorts of objects used by GenEdit. This currently includes file selectors, sound engines, configuration engines, format engines and data engines.

Components contain one or more Elements. A Component can be either a plug-in (for the dynamically-linked version of GenEdit), or a link-in (for the statically-linked version).
